Let the distance between A and B is x km
For I trip A to B
Time = Distance/Speed
 =  \frac{x}{50}  \\
For II TRIP,
Time =
 \frac{x}{80}  \\

As per Question
 \frac{x}{50}  +  \frac{x}{80}  = 6.5 \\  \frac{x}{5}  +  \frac{x}{8}  = 65 \\  \frac{8x + 5x}{40}  = 65 \\ 13x = 65 \times 40 \\ x =  \frac{65 \times 40}{13}  \\ x = 5 \times 40 \\ x = 200 \: km
So Distance between them is 200 km

Hope it helps you
