patience is essential to be successful in your life. presence of mind is needed for success. whenever you have to achieve anything you need to strive hard to reach your goals. if you don't get what you want at the first time then try again. sooner or later you will get what you wanted. this shows your patience. presence of mind during that period is necessary.

this shows interaction of patience and presence of mind.

Presence of mind refers to your ability to remain calm and take quick,wise decisions especially during the times of crisis. "Patience is a prerequisite for presence of mind." Yes, I agree with the statement because though presence of mind refers to take a quick and wise decision in certain circumstances but we need to have a little patience to take a wise action. If we get hampered and tensed, it becomes even more difficult to take a wise decision as our mind becomes unstable. Do there's a need of patience to describe a presence of mind.
