if x^2-5x+1 =0 (x is not equal to 0) then the value of x^3 +1/x^3 is ...

x^2 + 1 = 5x divide by x

x +1/x = 5 ---- 1 (square on both sides

x ^2 + 1/x^2 =23 -----2

multiply both equations which gives x^3 +1/x^3 +(1/x + x) =115

x^3 + 1/x^3 = 110

this is your answer..........
