Please can anyone solve this
0.99999...... = 1
but if we do 1 ÷ 1 we don't get 0.99999......
i need the correct explanation if we divide the rational number which the answer you give i want the answer as 0.99999......

It means 0.99999999999........... is approximately equal to 1.the difference between 1 and 0.999999............ is only 0.0000.....................1. That's why we take 0.9999................ as 1

0.99999... is rounded of to 1 as if we round of 0.99999999... we get 1. So,there is not any need to divide.....
