The Best method used for framing question is inversion method. It is done with all subject pronouns except "Je". Some words are used before inversion for determining different situations like:-

quand for time
où for place
pourquoi for why
combien de for how many

and many other words. use these words and inversion rule or the est - ce que rule. whatever u wish.
