 \frac{x}{3}  -  \frac{1 \times 3}{1 \times 3}  =  \frac{x}{2}  +  \frac{4 \times 2}{1 \times 2}  \\  \frac{x - 3}{3}  =  \frac{x + 8}{2}  \\ 2(x - 3) = 3(x +  8) \\ 2x - 6 = 3x + 24 \\ 2x - 3x = 24 + 6 \\  - x = 30 \\ x =  - 30
