there is a very indirect link between reducing friction and saving biodiversity.
for eg. electricity is generated in the thermal power plants in india where coal is used as a fuel.
as a lot of energy is dissipated in friction or overcoming the resistances in running the machine. thus reducing friction would save the fuel and stop pollution & save environment.
