This is great news for people and the government who want to develop an Indian nationality and do not want the countrymen to be divided on the basis of caste, creed or religion.
After India's independence, the government quickly moved to ensure that all the various groups in the country can live peacefully and feel like they are equal members of the country.
Caste rules were eliminated immediately and while in large parts of the country, caste is a big issue, things have definitely improved.
We had never heard of Muslims getting married to Hindus but Bollywood superstars have done just that and broke several taboos.
