Step-by-step explanation:

Numbers in the Pythagoras triplet represent in the form 2m, m² - 1 and m² + 1.

Let's take an example to understand this.

Let's find the triplet of 12. Assume that 2m is equal to 12. So,

→ 2m = 12

→ m = 12/2

→ m = 6

Similarly,

→ m² - 1 = 12

→ m² = 12 + 1

→ m² = 13 (Since, 13 is not the square number. So, it's not possible.)

From above we have m is 6. So, let's find triplet for m = 6.

1st number = 2m = 2(6) = 12

2nd number = m² - 1 = (6)² - 1 = 36 - 1 = 35

3rd number = m² + 1 = (6)² + 1 = 36 + 1 = 37

Therefore, the Pythagoras triplet of 12 is 12, 35, 37.

In short: Pythagoras triplet represent in the form 2m, m² - 1 and m² + 1. Assume that given number is equal to 2m. From there we'll get the value of m. But when me put the given number equal to m² - 1 and m² + 1 we don't get the square number. Which means that's impossible. So, instead of putting them equal we substitute the value of m in m² - 1 and m² + 1, to find the second & third number of pythagoras triplet.
