Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a cylinder is V = πr2 h (use π = 3.14)

V = 3.14 x (100 cm)2 x 250 cm

= 3.14 x 10,000 cm2 x 250 cm

= 7,850,000 cm3 = 7,850,000 Liters

Since the tank is half-filled with oil, volume of oil = 7,850,000 Liters / 2 = 3,925,000 Liters

Radius of cylinder =100cm= 1m

height of cylinder = 250 cm= 2.5 m

the tank is half field with oil .

so, the height for calculating vol. of oil in tank will be 1.25 m(125 cm)

we know,

 \boxed{ \sf \: vol. \: of \: cylinder = \pi {r}^{2} h}

V = 3.14×(1)²×1.25

V = 3.93 m³

V ≈ 4 m³

V ≈ 4000 litres
