》Charge can be defined as the physical property of matter which is responsible for causing a matter to experiencw force or which is responsible for electrical phenomena.
》Charge is of two types : Positive and negative Charge.
》When the amount of proton is more than that of electrons, the atom is said to carry positive charge.
》When the amount of electron is more than that of protons, the atom is said to be negatively charged.
》When an atom contains equal number of protons and electrons, the atom is said to be neutral.
》Electrons carry negative charge, protons have positive charge and neutron is neutral.
》Charge can neither be destroyed nor created.
