B. Rewrite the sentences using an apostrophe with the nouns to show possession.

1. The ball in your hand belongs to Shankar.

2. I am wearing the necklace which belonged to my grandmother.

I am wearing my grandmother's necklace.

3. These books belong to Mohan.

These books are of Mohan's.

4. This collar belongs to my dog, Pluto.

The collar is of my dog, Pluto's.

5. The flowers are from the garden of my friend.

The flowers are from my friend's garden.

6. The rat bit the tail of the cat.

The rat bit the cat's tail.

Here we've just change the sentence and we've used apostrophe such as Shankar's, Mohan's etc.
