Answer:

Let A = 7x + 1

Let B = 5x - 3

Covert the equation in the form :

3A/B -4B/A = 11

->   3A² - 4B² = 11AB

->   3A² -11AB -4B² = 0

Factorize the middle term.

3A² - 12 AB +AB -4B² = 0

3A(A-4B) + B(A-4B) = 0

(A-4B)(3A+B) = 0

A = 4B   or    3A = -B

Again substitute original values , 7x+1 and 5x-3

solve for x we get :

7x +1 = 4(5x -3)

x = 1

or

21x+3 = -5x + 3

x = 0

Substitute in the main equation and check

its correct !

let (7X+1)/5x-3 =A

3A -(4/A) =11

x= 1 & 0

X =1 satisfies equation
so answer is 1
