ATQ
(x-5)(y-5)=175
xy - 5x - 5y +25=175
putting the value x in this
we get
(50-y)y-5 (50-y)-5y=150
-y^2 +50y - 250 +5y -5y =150
y^2 -50y +400 =0
y^2 -10y-40y +400=0
y (y-10)-40 (y-10)=0
(y-10)(y-40)=0
y= 10 , 40
taking the y=40
x=50-y
x=50-40
x=10
therefore . Kiran's age is 10 years and her father's age is 40 years
