Given

u=0 m/s

s=270 m

t=3s

solution,

first we calculate the acceleration ,from the equations of motion

s=ut +1/2at^2

270=0(3)+1/2 a (3)^2

270=0+1/2 a (9)

270(2)=9a

540=9a

540/9=a

60=a

therefore, acceleration is 60 m/s^2 .

then we calculate the distance after 10s

a=v-u/t

60=v-0/10

60(10)=v

600=v

therefore the distance is 600m
