Answer:

1)

i-  55

ii- 43

iii- 30

iv- 17

2)

let the smaller angle be = x

let the larger angle be = 36+x

(36+x)+x=180 (supplementary angles)

36+ 2x =  180

2x= 180 - 36

2x = 144

x= 144 / 2

x= 72

36+x= 36+72 = 108

hence the angles are 72 and 36

3) 90

because, 90 + 90= 180

4)

i - no

ii- no

iii - yes

Answer:

Complement angles is a pair of angle whose sum is 90 degrees

If you need to find the complement of an angle. Just subtract 90 from the given angle.

I will  explain you first few sums:

(1)  35 + x = 90

x = 90 - 35

x = 55

55 degree is the complement of x  .

I hope you can do the rest of the complement related questions.

Now  i will tell you about supplementary angles  is  a pair of those angles  whose sum is 180 degrees. Again the same thing if you need to find the supplement of angle subtract  180 from the given angle.

(2) let the smaller angle be x degrees . then the larger angle will be  x + 36 degrees .It is given the question that both are supplement to each other.

Solution:

x + x + 36 = 180

2 x = 180 - 36

x = 144/2

x = 72 degrees

Since we have found out smaller angle .then the larger angle will be x + 36

72 + 36   = 108 degrees is the larger angle.

Third question :

Let the angle be x . It is given that both are equal to each other.

So

x + x = 180

2 x = 180

x = 90 degrees

Acute angle is that angle which measure less than 90 degrees.Obtuse angle has measure more than 90 degrees but has less than 180 degrees, Right angle is exactly 90 degrees .

In fourth question:

(1) No, any two acute angles cannot be supplementary. Because sum of largest acute angle  = 89 + 89 = 178 which is not equal to 180 degrees

(2) No,it does apply for obtuse also  because sum of their smallest obtuse angles are 91 + 91 = 182  which is not equal to  180 degrees

(3) Yes, it applies for right angle triangle , as i have proved earlier.

90 + 90 = 180 degrees which is equal to 180 degrees.

Thank you  i hope i have cleared your doubts and please vote me brainliest and like  it if learnt something new.
