So...
R = V square / P
R = 200*200 /100
R = 400 ohm
after cutting resistance of 2 parts = 400/2 = 200ohm
So connected in parallel
1/R to the base p = 1/200 + 1/200
1/R to the base p = 2/200
1/R to the base p = 1/100
Resistance in parallel = 100 ohm
Energy = power * time
= v square /R *t
=200 *200/100 *1 = 400 Joule
Hope it's right ...
