THE HEIGHT OF A PARALLELOGRAM IS ONE THIRD ITS BASE. IF THE AREA OF THE PARALLELOGRAM IS 108 CMSQUARE, FIND ITS BASE AND HEIGHT

Height of parallelogram=x
Base of the parallelogram=3x

 area of IIgm=(3x)(x)
       (3x^2)=108
          x^2 = 36 
            x  = 6 cm =Height
Base =3(6cm)=18cm
