Here,

2/9 is common on both the term in RHS

So,

You can take that out differently as given in picture on LHS

And, if solve you will get same answer

as per LHS = RHS

Step-by-step explanation:

 \bf  \frac{2}{9}  \times ( \frac{ - 6}{7}  +  \frac{3}{7} ) = ( \frac{2}{9}  \times  \frac{ - 6}{7} ) + ( \frac{2}{9}  \times  \frac{3}{7} )

 \bf  \frac{2}{9}  \times (  - \frac{3}{7} ) = ( -  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{7} ) + ( \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{1}{7} )

 \bf  -  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{1}{7}  = ( -  \frac{4}{21} ) +  \frac{2}{21}

 \bf  -  \frac{2}{21}  =  -  \frac{4  }{21}  +  \frac{2}{21}  \implies  \red{ \boxed{  - \frac{2}{21} =  -  \frac{2}{21}  } }
