Explanation:

1. On a hot dry day, the amount of water vapour present in air is less. Thus, water present inside the desert cooler evaporates more, thereby cooling the surroundings more. That is why a desert cooler cools better on a hot dry day.

2.An earthen pot or a matka is porous in nature. Water placed in earthen pots is evaporated from minuscule pores it has as it is made of mud particles. This evaporation of water produces a cooling effect. ... Hence, water stored in earthen pots tends to become cooler in summer.

3.Acetone, petrol and perfume are low boiling liquids. When they're poured on palm, they evaporate readily and for this change of state, they take the energy from our palm and we get a cooling sensation.

4.Larger is the surface area more is the evaporation. Thus evaporation is faster in a saucer causing more cooling than in a cup. For this reason, we are able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer than a cup.

5.During summer, we normally wear light coloured cotton clothes. We sweat a lot in summers. Cotton is a good absorber of water. Thus, it absorbs sweat from our body and exposes the sweat to the atmosphere, making its evaporation faster.

It will help you.

On a hot day, the rate of evaporation of water, increases. Water takes heat from there water takes heat from the hot air an be evaporates quickly. The evaporation of water cools the pads and the circulating water better. This, a desert cooler cools better in a hot dry day.

 \large \underline{ \bf{Answer  \: 2:}}

During summer water is kept in earthen wares(matka) to keep it cool because earthen wares has got a number of find pores all around. Water comes out through these pores and changes into vapour by taking heat from the inner water. With a result, the water inside the matka gets cooled.

 \large \underline{ \bf{Answer  \: 3:}}

The acetone/petrol/perfume particles get energy from your palm and evaporate causing the palm to feel cool.

 \large \underline{ \bf{Answer  \: 4:}}

Saucer had more surface area than that a cup, therefore rate of evaporation is more in case of saucer than cup. Hence more cooling will be done in the case of saucer. Hence we able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather than a cup.

 \large \underline{ \bf{Answer  \: 5:}}

We should wear cotton clothes in summer. During summer, we perspire more because of the mechanism of our body which keep us cool. During evaporation, the particles at the surface of the liquid gain energy from our body surface and change into vapour. The heat energy equal to the latent of vaporization is absorbed from the body leaving the body cool. Cotton, bring good absorber of water helps in absorbing there sweat and exposing it to the atmosphere for easy evaporation.
