Answer:

a) Gases are highly compressible because they have a high intermolecular space, so while compressing the molecules gets very close to get change of their state.

b) Milk is regarded as a mixture because it has different kinds of minerals, proteins and other important substances dissolved in it.

c) The change of water into water vapour is considered as a physical change because in the change of state into gas water molecules does not go through a change in their chemical properties.

d) Solids have great intermolecular force of attraction between them, so the molecules are fixed in their place and cannot overlap above each other, this is why solids can't flow.

e) Digestion of food is a chemical change as, food is broken down by the action of enzymes and acids in our digestive tract which is irreversible and their chemical properties is also changed (such as breaking down of protein s into amino acids) .
