PNP

------

A PNP transistor is a bipolar junction transistor constructed by sandwiching an N-type semiconductor between two P-type semiconductors. A PNP transistor has three terminals – a Collector (C), Emitter (E) and Base (B). The PNP transistor behaves like two PN junctions diodes connected back to back.

BJT

------

It is a current controlled device. The three terminals of the BJT are the base, the collector and the emitter. A BJT is a type of transistor that uses both electrons and holes as charge carriers. A signal of small amplitude if applied to the base is available in the amplified form at the collector of the transistor.

NPN

-------

The NPN transistor amplifies the weak signal enter into the base and produces strong amplify signals at the collector end. In NPN transistor, the direction of movement of an electron is from the emitter to collector region due to which the current constitutes in the transistor

NPN BJT

-------------

The NPN transistor is designed to pass electrons from the emitter to the collector (so conventional current flows from collector to emitter). The emitter "emits" electrons into the base, which controls the number of electrons the emitter emits. ... The transistor is kind of like an electron valve.
