Answer:

1. plane, airport

2. boy, soda, table

3. dog, ball, toys

4. friend, mall

5. spider, bed

6. people, bus

7. day, week

8.  children, videogames

9. pet, puppies

10. birthday

11. twins

12. leaves, weather

To find out nouns, one must ask the question 'what?' to the sentence.

For example in the first sentence we can have two such divisions.

What landed safely? The plane did.

The plane landed safely in what? In the airport. ( in some cases, you may also ask the question 'where?' like in this one )

Please remember that if you get a specific name, it is also a noun but a proper noun.

For example, in sentence 10, we ask 'My birthday is in what?' and the answer is October. It is a specific month name, therefore it is a proper noun and not a common noun.

Hope I helped.
