Answer:

ur ans.. is

Explanation:

1) In chemistry, a metal is an element that readily forms positive ions (cations) and has metallic bonds. Most elements on this line are metalloids, sometimes called semi-metals; elements to the lower left are metals; elements to the upper right are nonmetals

2) chemistry, a nonmetal is a chemical element that mostly lacks the characteristics of a metal. Physically, a nonmetal tends to have a relatively low melting point, boiling point, and density. A nonmetal is typically brittle when solid and usually has poor thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity.

Answer:

1. The substances which are sonorous, ductile, and is a good conductor of heat and electricity are called metals.

2. The substances which are not sonorous, ductile, and poor conductor of heat and electricity are called non metals.

3. When a metal reacts with oxygen, a metal oxide forms. The general equation for this reaction is: metal + oxygen → metal oxide.

4. Non-metals react with oxygen to form non-metal oxides. Non-metal oxides are acidic in nature. They turn blue litmus to red. Sulphurous acid turns blue litmus to red showing it is an acid and that sulphur dioxide is acidic in nature.
