Question :-

Find the Quantity of Oil that can be poured into a Container of dimensions 12 cm × 8 cm × 10 cm.

Solution :-

Here, l = 12 cm ; b = 8 cm ; h = 10 cm.

Volume of the Container, V = \boxed {\bold {(l \times b \times h)\: cubic \:units}}

Volume of the Container = (12 \times 8 \times 10)\: cm^3 , V = \bold {960\: cm^3}

-

Now, to Convert from cm³ to Litres,

Divide the Volume Value of the Container by 1,000

\longrightarrow \frac{960\: cm^3}{1,000}\: l = \bold {0.96\: Litres}

-

∴ The Quantity of Oil that can be Poured into the Container is 0.96 Litres
