please exlplain distributive law with example

answer✏The Distributive Law says that multiplying a number by a group of numbers added together is the same as doing each multiplication separately. So the "3" can be "distributed" across the "2+4" into 3 times 2 and 3 times 4

Multiplying a number by a group of numbers added together same as doing each multiplication separately

Eg :- 15 x 14

15 x (10 + 5)

15 x10 + 15x 4

150 + 60

= 210
