The velocity of a body is the distance travelled by it per unit time in a given direction.

Velocity=distance travelled/time taken

V=s/t

SI unit is m/s

Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity with time.

Acceleration is equal to the change in velocity upon time taken.

A=(v-u)/t

SI unit is m/s^2

Hope it helps you!!
