alliteration is when the initial consonant sounds are repeated
Personification is used when you give a non-living thing, a quality or an ability of a living thing
Metaphor- When you compare two objects without using the words 'like' or 'as'
Simile- When you USE words 'like' or 'as' to compare objects
Onomatopoeia- Is a poetic device that gives extra-effects to a poem by giving SOUNDS to a particular word. for e.g. Bang, Boom...etc..
Hyperbole- It is used to beatify the poem by exaggerating.
