please explain aufbou's principle, pauli's exclusion principle and hund's rule.

Aufbau's principle: low energy subshells are filled first with electrons in the electron configuration.

Pauli's exclusion principle: 2 electrons in an orbital must have different spin quantum numbers i.e. opposite spins.

Hund's rule: Suppose we have 3 electrons to fill in the 3 p orbitals, px, py and pz. The electrons will be allocated to each of these orbitals so that we have px¹, py¹ and pz¹, with all the electrons being in each of the4 degenerate p orbitals having the same spin quantum number. (the electrons won't be allocated as px², py¹ and pz⁰)
