It means 40% is saving.

Let monthly income be ₹x.
So, 40% of x = ₹6000
=> 40/100 × x = 6000
=> x = (6000 × 100)/40
=> x = 15,000

Thus, Monthly income = ₹15,000.

(4) 144/360 × 100 = (c) 40%
