please explain Grouping of capacitor in series and parallel, i can't understand

It’s a simple idea and will also be required in arrangement of resistor cells etc

Here’s the basic idea

Caps in series will have same charge

Caps in parallel will have same potential difference

When connected in series their potential difference will be the sum of their individual potential difference. Now expand voltage into Q/C. All the Q as there’s same in series will be canceled and there’s your answer

Similar approach for parallel. Consider the total charge to be the sum of their individual charges and cancel all the potential difference
