In ΔAOB and ΔCOD,

∠ AOB = ∠COD (Vertically opposite angles)

AO/OC = DO/OB   (Given)

Therefore according to SAS similarity criterion,

ΔAOB ~ ΔCOD

AO/OC = BO/OD = AB/DC [corresponding sides of similar triangles are proportional]

⇒ 1/2 = 5/DC

⇒ DC = 10 cm

bHEY!!!!
I AM GONNA EXPLAIN IT TO YOU ALRIGHT...

THE question says that ao is half of co and bo is half of od and there both measure are equal
AB is given=5cm
we have to find the value of dc
sooooo

ao=bo and oc=od
therefore ab will be half of CD because there diganols are half so 5cm×2=10cm

10cm=answer

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER
