As we know,

P = VI. ...... (1)
V = IR. .......(2)

(a). Power of the bulb => P = VI

=> P = 2.5 × 0.75
=> P = 1.875 watts

(b). Resistance = V = IR

=> R = V/I
=> R = 2.5/0.75
=> R = 3.33 ohm

(c). Energy consumed = Watt× hours

=> 1.875 × 4
=> 7.5 WH

7.5 watt hour = 7.5 × 3600

= 27000 J/s

Energy consumed in four hours = 27000 × 4

= 108000 joules

I hope this will help you.

SandeepJ: that means for enegy we don't have to time unit into second and watt hour is the SI or common unit r8?
SubhasishBhaduri: This is according to the question if you have to convert it in seconds or not and watt hours is not the SI unit Kilo watt hour is the SI unit, as the energy consumption is very small so it is expressed in watt hours
SandeepJ: thank you very much........can you please tell me the type of question where one has to convert it into seconds?
SubhasishBhaduri: I edited my answer now you can check both the formulae to find energy consumed
SandeepJ: Thank you very much......:)
