In this there is reaction given which forms bleaching powder. In this reaction calcium hydroxide (slaked lime) when mixed with chlorine in the presence of heat gives calcium oxychloride (bleaching powder) and water. Bleaching powder is formed by the action of Cl2 gas ( obtained by the electrolysis of NaCl) on dry slaked lime.
