Height of plane above the sea level. Floating a submarine below the sea level. ∴ The vertical distance between the plane and the submarine. Thus, the vertical distance between the plane and the submarine is 6200 m.

Answer:

Height of the plane is above the sea level that is 5000m and the floating submarine below the sea level is 1200m.Therefore,the vertical distances between both of them is 5000m+1200m and thats 5000+1200m=6200m.

Hope u find this easy:)
