anything having ^2 can be taken out of root so for 1st one
a^2 becomes a and √4 is equal to 2
similarly its done for b

akashkaman22: thanks

in a) √ 4= 2 and √a^2 = a therefore they are taken out of the root and we cannot find the root of a therefore it is kept as it is.

in b) √9=3 and b^7 is been split up and thereby b^ 3 is taken out and as we cannot find the root of b it is kept as it is.

sru8: thnx for that
akashkaman22: may I know how they split b root 7 please.
DeathViperLP02: (b^3)^2 = b ^6 ehich when multiplied to b gives b^7
sru8: ya he is right
akashkaman22: no i did not understand correctly
sru8: because ( a^m)^n = a^mn
akashkaman22: plz wait i try
sru8: did u get it now
akashkaman22: yes i understood now thanks
sru8: welcomw
