Answer :

K is the coefficient of thermal conductivity. And Watt is the unit of power.

So, unit of thermal conductivity is Watt per meter Kelvin.(W/m.k) or (Wm-¹K-¹). First,take the power and make the dimensional formula.

= power

= Work/time

= Force × distance / time

= Mass×acceleration×distance/time

= M×velocity/Time×Length/T

= M×Distance(L)/(Time)²×length/T

= ML²T-³.

Apply this on Wm-¹K-¹ we get,

= ML¹T-³K-¹.

Option A is the answer.
