Please explain me how reflection takes place and my question is that if we close eyes and if light is on and if mother switch off light so how we understand that light is off now?

in your question reflection doesn't takes place nor the refraction because according to your question the brightness of the light is very much when the light is on and when mother switch off the light the brightness decreases
