Please explain me what is “hyperconjugation” ? (No formal definition needed,just explain in simple words to understand)

Hyperconjugation is a stabilising interaction that results from the interaction of the elections in a sigma bond with an adjacent empty or partially filled p orbital to give an extended molecular orbital that increases the stability of the system........
