We are given that AB and CD are parallel to each other, ∠AFE is 132°, ∠GED is 37°. We need to find the value of ∠1 .

Solution :

  • ∠1 = ∠FED - ∠GED

First, we need to find the value of ∠FED

➙ ∠FED = ∠AFE [Alternate interior angle]

➙ ∠FED = 132°

Now, We have -

  • ∠AFE = 132°
  • ∠GED = 37°
  • ∠FED = 132°

Putting the values in ( ∠1 = ∠FED - ∠GED)

➙ ∠1 = ∠FED - ∠GED

➙ ∠1 = 132° - 37°

➙ ∠1 = 95°

Hence, we got the value of ∠1 = 95°
