Pythagoras theorem is one of the most important theorems in the field of geometry and trigonometry as well.

We know that a right angle triangle has three sides which are known as the,

1) Base 2) Height 3) Hypotenuse

Pythagoras theorem established a mathematical relationship among these three sides.

Which is,

(Base)²+(Height)² = (Hypotenuse)²

Or simply,

A²+B² = C²

Where, A = Base , B= Height , C = Hypotenuse.

This mathematical formula is vastly used to solve different problems of trigonometry and geometry.

Answer:

In mathematics, the Pythagorean theorem, also known as Pythagoras' theorem, is a fundamental relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle. It states that the area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares on the other two sides.

a²+b²=c²
