perimeter =24
therefore no. of sides 12of equal length (sides of equilateral triangle)
therefore Side of each equilateral triangle=24/12=2cm



area of equilateral triangle= √3/4a^2. (a=side of the equilateral triangle)
therefore area of one equilateral triangle =√3/4×2^2=√3/4*4=√3cm^2


now there are 12 such equilateral triangles in the figure therefore area of the figure is 12√3 cm ^2
