(2/7)^5 x (2/7)^-6 = (2/7)^2p-1
Since the bases are same we can write
The powers directly
Since in the left side it is multiplied we can write
5 + (-6) = 2p-1
Or
2p-1 = 5 +( -6)
2p -1= 5-6
2p = -1+1
2p = 0
P= 0

Not sure for 2nd one friend
Hope it helps
