Describe in extreme detail the complete synoptic-dynamical sequence of processes that leads to extratropical cyclone development, also known as cyclogenesis. Your answer must:

a) describe all aspects of frontogenetical and frontolytical dynamics important to cyclogenesis,

b) describe all aspects of jet streak adjustments important to cyclogenesis, and

c) explain the developmental process employing theories from the most elementary to the most sophisticated and how they differ in their dynamical framework for cyclone development. I very strongly urge you to pick a recent case study of significant cyclogenesis and use it to graphically enhance your written analyses/descriptions.
