please explain the phrases and its kind

A phrase is a group of words. it is used in a sentence to add meaning. There are three types :
1) Noun phrase
2) Adjective phrase
3) Adverb phrase

AbniRaj: Noun phrase - when a group of words does the the work of a noun in a sentence , we call it a noun phrase.
AbniRaj: Adjective phrase - when a group of words does the work of an adjective in a sentence we call it an adjective phrase
