Look Mathematical induction is a very easy chapter
I will explain all the steps:-
1) First Is the verification step in which we put the values of n and try to check whether the LHS AND RHS ARE right
2) Then comes the assumption step here we assume that n=k or k is true for all values k
3) Now comes the final step I.e induction step in this we have to prove n=k+1 I.e for all values n k+1 is true we prove this with the help of assumption step.

3×3^k-1/2=3^k+1/2 ( law of exponent) I can't explain any more pls post the full question
