Phyllotaxy is of three types :
.Alternate or Spiral: In this type, a single leaf arise at each node in analternate manner, e.g. Hibiscus rosa sinensis.
.Opposite : Two leaves are borne from the node in oppositedirections.
It is of types : (i)Opposite Superposed: e.g., Quisqualis
