Please explain these that how they are transitive and intransitive.

Heya !!
A transitive verb is a verb that requires one or more objects. Transitive verbs can be classified by the number of objects they require.
But, an action verb with no direct object is intransitive.

In simple words, transitive verbs answers "who?" or "what?"
E.g. Q. a) Many television programmes influence children....
Here, influence is the transitive verb and hence, answers who or what. I.e., Influence who? Influence the children.
While, intransitive verb doesn't.
