I understood the basic thing ... though I don't know anything about it .. here is it :


The native people were actually living in the high slope area.

The dams had to be built in the high slope area.

Also canals had to be built for profit of some people.


So the people were forced to live in the low slope area and they had been promised to be benefited from the dam .

However , the native people were deprived of their benefits as they were promised .

This made them discontented .

It is because they did not get water because every water was blocked in the dam and some of it was harnessed.

PROMISE WAS NOT KEPT

THIS INVOLVED GIVING WATER

THAT WAS THE PROMISE
