This poem is written by Leigh hunt ..

let's start

one day when abou ben adharm was sleeping , there entered an angel in his room so he awoke , then he saw the angel writing in a book of gold .. abou ben adhem was scared .. but to remind the angel that he is present in the room he said "what are you writing .. The angel raised up her head and with a sweet smile she said the names of the persons who love the Lord .. then excitingly abou asked is there mine one the angel replied that his name was not there abou spoke more low and said that I pray the lord and then write my name as the one who loves his fellow men .. the angel wrote something and then vanished ..

the next night it came again and showed all the names then abou was very happy that his name was on the top of the list ..

Moral - god does not want us to merely love him he wants that we should love our fellow beings
